How to call Skype contacts for (almost) FREE directly from your Phone [Tutorial]

Setting up Zenofon to Call your Skype Contacts

Needless to say, you will require a Zenofon account. If you do not have one, you can use our Zenofon invite and create a new account. Follow the steps below:

1. Login to your account.
2. Add a new contact and enter the contact’s name (this is for your reference) and the Skype ID of the person in the phone number field.
   
3. After you save this entry, Zenofon will provide you with a local number for your Skype contact. You can see the same in your phone book.
   
4. Now you can dial the local number and Zenofon will connect you with your Skype contact.
5. If you dial the local number and your contact is available to take calls on Skype, he/she should receive the call as a regular Skype call from Zenofon.
   
6. That’s it!! You are now ready to make calls to your Skype friends directly from your phone. Just save the number in your Phone Book and you can call your Skype friends like any other calls.

If you are worried about the cost, relax!!! This is an extremely affordable solution, almost FREE. Calls to Skype contacts are charged at $0.001 per minute or 1/10 of a cent per minute, i.e., if you make an hour’s call you will pay only 6 cents.

This feature can be really handy in making ultra cheap international calls. Your Skype friend can be anywhere across the globe, but you will still pay only $0.001 per minute. That is truly unbeatable!! You can have your friends or family buy a Skype Phone and have the convenience as well.

It also eliminates the need for buying a SkypeIN number to a large extent – a savings of almost $60 over the entire year.

I have tried this and it works perfectly. The sound quality is quite decent. You will not have any reasons to complaint!!
