Complete VoIP SIP Settings for all Betamax providers [Tools]

It’s a pain to search for the SIP settings for your favorite VoIP provider. Not any more, we present the most comprehensive listing of the SIP settings of all the Betamax VoIP services. If you do not find your provider in the list, please drop a comment and I will update the list to reflect the changes. Also, if you notice any changes to the SIP settings of any of the provider, let me know so that I can keep the list updated. Using these SIP settings is extremely easy. All you need to do is use any SIP compatible device (software or hardware) and then use these settings. In most cases, the STUN server is optional. Please note that you need to have an account with the provider before you can use these SIP settings.

The settings mentioned here do not require VPN. So, if you are not using VPN, there are no additional settings.

I am not sure if KSAfone supports SIP. I guess they have their own dialer and it works with KSAfone.

Although, CheapVoIP says that they do not provide SIP support, you can try the SIP proxy sip.cheapvoip.com

I have used previously some Betamax services, in the beginning, it worked perfectly, but in the last couple of years, I’m having problem with the following issues:
- payment options: for some reason credit card payment option not available any longer (I’m in China right now) in China, but it’s available in US/Canada (but I need an account opened in that country). It seems Betamax is having lot of complaints/cancellation and not letting you to use credit card as payment options. Do you have any feedback on this?
- connection problem: I used JustVoip, VoipDiscount, Telbo, etc., when testing, it worked fine, but after I made a payment, and when I tried to make free calls (there are certain period that you’re allowed to make free calls to certain countries), it just said “you’re not allowed to make this call”, I tried to contact technical support to no avail (there is not technical support or customer service), but it seems after the free call period expired, you can make calls. Has any one had similar problem with Betamax? Is this a country wide issue to a trick to not allow user to make free calls?
ps: I did a VoIP connection test with visualware (http://myspeed.visualware.com/servers/namerica/iad.php?testtype=-1&codebase=myspeed.keray.com&message=Speed%20connection%20test%20helps%20to%20pre%20qualify%20customers&location=Malaysia:%20Kuala%20Lumpur&ver=8&map=asia&pps=50&bpp=160&codec=G.711&provtext=Keray%20Information%20Technology&provlink=http://www.keray.com/), and it showed just fine.

how to use rynga jumblo if any ISP block for this proxy??
If your VoIP traffic is blocked, you can try using a proxy server to bypass VoIP restriction or you may need service such as Ringomax to bypass ISP restriction. If that does not work, you need to use a VPN service to access VoIP. Keep and eye, we will soon have a give away for VPN accounts on TruVoIPBuzz…

IMHO, one of the best softphone for Nokia platform is Media5-fone. For the Nokia platform, there may not be as many options as the iPhone/Android platform. You can also try Fring, Nimbuzz.
You need to use Proxy server or VPN. There are several tutorials on this blog to help you with that. Look around…
