Complete VoIP SIP Settings for all Betamax providers [Tools]

It’s a pain to search for the SIP settings for your favorite VoIP provider. Not any more, we present the most comprehensive listing of the SIP settings of all the Betamax VoIP services. If you do not find your provider in the list, please drop a comment and I will update the list to reflect the changes. Also, if you notice any changes to the SIP settings of any of the provider, let me know so that I can keep the list updated. You can follow our step-by-step tutorial on configuring SIP accounts in X-lite or any other softphone.

Using these SIP settings is extremely easy. All you need to do is use any SIP compatible device (software or hardware) and then use these settings. In most cases, the STUN server is optional. Please note that you need to have an account with the provider before you can use these SIP settings.

  I don’t think Visatell provides SIP support. Their website is woefully bad (full of 404 errors). I would hesitate to recommend that service to anyone…

Yeah, it is unfortunate that some countries block SIP ports. You can try using some of our earlier tutorials to use proxy server to bypass ISP restrictions or use services such as RingoMax to access VoIP. If nothing works, try VPN Tunnel

  SmartVoIP/ActionVoIP dialers are Win 7 compatible, so not sure what is the problem. Can you try installing any other SIP client, e.g., x-lite, and see if you can use SmartVoIP or ActionVoIP through it?

  There might be several things that may be wrong with your connection and without any troubleshooting it is difficult to point out the exact source of the problem. I would suggest you follow the basic VoIP troubleshooting steps and see if you find something there. You may also want to see how to optimally set up your ATA/Router for VoIP traffic. Let me know if you still have issues…

You can try using proxy server to bypass VoIP restrictions or try other services like Ringomax to bypass your ISP ban.

  Unfortunately, none of them provide SIP support. They are designed to work in areas where VoIP is traditionally blocked and hence use encryption to bypass the ISP restrictions.

  Unfortunately, VoIP providers do not provide additional proxy servers. If your VoIP connection is blocked by your ISP, you may have to use VPN services or other commercial proxy services.

  Most SIP providers allow SIP to SIP calls. You do not need any special settings. Just enter the SIP URI of the person you want to call and make the calls. Some client require you to prefix the SIP URI with sip: (e.g., sip:XXXXX@voxalot.com). Let me know what SIP client you are using so I can provide more specific instructions.

      The Gigaset s450 IP supports upto 6 SIP accounts. So, you can configure a free Voxalot SIP account on the Gigaset and then your friend can call you on your Voxalot SIP account for FREE.
      
      As regards you being able to make SIP calls, I don’t think the s450 allows SIP URI dialing (or SIP URI address book entries), but you can definitely receive SIP calls.

Sorry to hear that. You need to change the password for the PAP2 device, also change the username from admin to something else. Next, you should also change the password for your SIP account. Finally, you can also add an IP level security so that only particular IPs can log on to the device.

  Many VoIP services are blocked in Emirates, hence you may have limited options. You may consider using a proxy service/VPN to access VoIP services.

  You can use Rynga with any SIP client. Try using Blink SIP client (FREE) or x-lite SIP phone. They are far superior.
