Jumblo offering Cheapest International Calls to India, Pakistan, and more [Review]

We are sucker for cheap international calls. Today we review another VoIP provider, Jumblo, that seems to be offering some great VoIP deals to top VoIP destinations like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Russia, etc. Jumblo is the latest kid on the block seeking to capture some VoIP market share. Let us look at Jumblo in little more detail:

Prices: Cheap call rates seems to be the USP of Jumblo.

Country Rate (Euro Cent) Country Rate (Euro Cent)
India (Landline) 0.01 Pakistan (Landline) 0.03
India (Mobile) 0.007 Pakistan (Mobile) 0.05
Bangladesh (Landline) 0.025 Sri Lanka 0.08
Bangladesh (Mobile) 0.02 Russia (Moscow) 0.005
Saudi Arabia (LL) 0.04 Qatar 0.09

In addition, Jumblo offers 90 free days when you recharge your account, i.e. you can call several countries for free during those 90 days. Some countries that you can call for free during the free days are Canada, Switzerland, Sweden, South Korea, Singapore, Europe, USA, United Kingdom, Thailand, Uzbekistan, etc.

These rates are among the best we have seen so far. You could look at some of the other options to make ultra cheap international calls

Features: In addition to excellent rates, Jumblo offers some great features like SIP support and local access numbers. Jumblo’s SIP settings are given below:

SIP port : 5060

Registrar : sip.jumblo.com

Proxy server : sip.jumblo.com

Outbound proxy server : leave empty

Account name : your Jumblo username

Password : your Jumblo password

Display name/number : your Jumblo username or voipnumber

Stunserver (option) : stun.jumblo.com

Jumblo offers local access numbers across various countries. You could use the smart dialing feature to make the optimum use of the local access numbers. Using the local access numbers and the SIP support, you could make use of VoIP without the computer.

If you are having trouble with buying credits on Jumblo, refer the link. If you or your friend is within the United States (USA) then do not miss this great VoIP deal by Bueno.

I was using jumblo through nimbuzz from UAE. However couple of weeks i tried it cannot be accessed. It is getting connected, however both ends cannot hear the voice. Therefore request you to guide with another software for mobile or pc that can access from UAE. Your favorable & prompt response will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks & Regards
  • I am guessing that the authorities in UAE are getting increasingly strict about preventing access to VoIP. Even Ringomax is having difficulties getting around the restrictions. Meanwhile, I will suggest that you try the VPN option. Meanwhile, I will keep looking for other options for our readers in UAE and other countries where access to VoIP is restricted.

am havin jumblo account but the rates given for me to call india is 0.009,but u have mentioned as 0.007,so can i knw watz the difference in dis?
  • Apologies for the inconvenience. Betamax updates the rates very frequently and it is difficult for me to keep a track of all the changes they have made across the destinations. The rates that you see on the post were valid at the time of writing it. However, you will be charged the rates mentioned on their website. TruVoIPbuzz provides you a good indication of rates (the rates do not swing wildly).

hii.. i make so much recharge for jumblo. its like 5 euro after 2 r 3 days.. or metimes 5 euro in 1 day.. these all make me so much cost.. can u tell me how i can make myself comfortable by getting mre cheaper for me. should i be agent for myself?? or any other method which will make me less cost..
  • Being a reseller will not cut down the cost by too much. If you make too many calls, consider unlimited calling plans or the Vonage world plan. The other option is to setup an ATA in your home country so that you can make local calls to your home destination.

anybody help me.. i m studying in china. i m going in india for some time.. i want to shift my calls from chinese mobile no to indian number. can i do that? plz contact me on tayalsurbhi.24@gmail.com
  • If you want to continue using your mobile number, then the best options would be to create a Rebetel account (or other such account which allows you to dial a local number and make international calls) and create a local (Chinese) number for your destination (Indian number) and forward all calls on your mobile to this Rebtel local number. You may need to contact your service provider for call forward instructions. Now all calls made to your Chinese number will be automatically forwarded to your Indian number at extremely low rates.

    Hi alok!
As per the website instructions, once we enter the number in Jumblo it will connect calls to the number we enter. Does that mean, em getting an incoming call and do not need to pay local minutes to the provider here?? if i use rynga or rebtel i need to pay local charge for the access number.
  • If it is using call back, i.e., if it is connecting to your phone, then you will have to pay for local charges. To save local minutes, I will recommend you set up SIP or use the Zenofon technique.
