Since we last reviewed Chillitalk, it has generated lot of attention. Chillitalk seems to be doing the right things, firstly offering a good product at good rates and then backing it with good promotional support. But, Chillitalk is not sitting idle.
Chillitalk has just launched FreeTalk that allows its customers to make free international calls to over 17 countries. Currently, Chillitalk subscribers can make free calls between the following countries (no India here):
UK, Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, USA, Romania, Netherlands, and Poland
FreeTalk is very similar to the Jaxtr FreeConnect offering unlimited free calls to India and several other countries or Rebtel’s Smart calling between Rebtel countries. To use FreeTalk, follow the simple process:
- Use the local access number available in the countries listed above to call your friend.
- Once connected, ask your friend to call you back on the local access number in their country and then you need to press #9 (but do not hang up).
- Once your friend calls on the number, the connection is reestablished and then you can talk for FREE.
Please, note that you still have to pay for the first minute or till the time you press #9. This is a great facility and will surely attract more customers, given that Chillitalk is targeting the European market. Also, as we mentioned in our earlier, Chillitalk offers some good call rates and 100 free international minutes.
If you are already using Chillitalk, we would love to hear your views about the service…
