Make free calls to India [Free Calls]

In the crowd of Rebtels and the Jajahs of the world, we often forget about some other good VoIP providers. Airtel, India’s leading telecom operator, is offering free 30 minutes trial to register on their site. Thanks Vinita, for sharing this with us. You can fill in the form here. Airtel Callhome is a virtual calling card and has decent rates as compared to a lot of other providers. Airtel is trying to woo the non-resident Indians with their offer.

You can register as many numbers as you have and get 30 minutes of free talk time. Please note that these trial minutes can only be used to call India.
For other countries, keep reading this blog for more such offers. So if you have any Grandcentral number, make the most of it!!!

    But the “free” bit is only for 30 minutes right? One call to my sis… :P . Worth all the pain?

    IMO, nothing beats Reliance India call for sheer convenience and affordability

      Yeah you have 30 free minutes!!! India is still not a VoIP country so free calls to India are not that common. But will post a few tricks to make ultra low cost calls to India and other countries…so keep looking :)

      To use your GC number, enter that number as Landline and you will get additional 30 minutes :)

    “GrandCentral is currently a private beta service, which means you must receive an invite from GrandCentral or a GrandCentral user to sign up”

      Unfortunately GC has stopped accepting new accounts temporarily. Even the invites have been taken away. So, I guess, you will have to wait for a while. Will send you an invite once I have them.

    Much as we all want unlimited free calls, that is not going to happen. However, you can get free calls for a limited time. You can get $10 free international calling credits here. Alternatively, you can make ultra cheap calls to India.
